In this 2004 State of the Church Message, Pastor Rick reveals his goals for the future of Saddleback Church. The key scripture Rick uses as a launch for this message is Acts 1:8: "When the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power, and will tell people about me everywhere- in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Pastor Rick applies this scripture to the missions of our church: our Jerusalem in the many venues of our church campus; our Judea in our small groups; our Samaria which is the diverse cultures of our state, and to the ends of the earth with the launch of our Global PEACE Plan.
