This powerful 40 Days in the Word Sr High Sermon curriculum designed by Saddleback Student Ministries with high school students in mind will help your high school pastors save time and draw inspiration on what they want to reveal to their students about God’s Word.

Students will be learning the same material as their parents, in age-appropriate ways with these sermons as the whole church studies the 40 Days in the Word campaign.

In this sermon series, your high school students will hear the following messages about the Bible:

1. The Book: Week 1 — Where did the Bible come from and what is it about?
2. The Book: Week 2 — Why was the Bible written?
3. The Book: Week 3 — Help students understand confusing words and phrases in the Bible
4. The Book: Week 4 — Old Testament Breakdown
5. The Book: Week 5 — New Testament Breakdown
6. The Book: Week 6 — How to read, live, and share the truths in the Bible

Each of the six messages comes with:

• MP3 audio - Listen to how the Saddleback High School Pastors preached each message, noting their tone, pitch, speed, and other variations of delivery.
• Teaching Notes (Word) - Follow along as you listen to each sermon and mark the document with your notes to prepare your message.
• Message slides (.jpeg and PowerPoint) - Use these slides to highlight what you’ll preach in your message.
